Q & A's

What are your credentials? What certifications do you hold?

I started my weight lifting journey in 2013 and took my personal training courses a year later in the areas of: Lifestyle Consultant, Wellness Coach, Group Fitness instructor, Nutrition Coach, Fitness Assessments and Weight Training. I am certified through the NAFC. I began competing with the Nat'l. Physique Committee (NPC) in 2015 doing one show a year. In 2018, I won two of my classes, receiving two first place medals! It was a very exciting and rewarding time.

What is your educational background?

I received by Bachelors Degree in 2013.

How do you keep yourself current on the latest information and news about fitness?

Once I started going through the personal training courses and completing my exams, I became fascinated about cellular health. I have done extensive research from the top trusted sources and publications in the health & fitness industry . I filter through the stuff that most people could care less about. I maintain knowledge on the current trends in the industry by attending annual fitness expos. I publish and share newsletters with clients as well as blog regularly on this website.

Do you require clients to purchase any special equipment?

No. The only thing you may need for the training aspect is workout clothes and gym shoes.

Will you provide referrals from current and previous clients?

I can, but it would require them contacting you in a way they choose. I will not give out any client's contact information.

Where do you conduct your crash-courses and training?

That depends. For the crash course, I try to pick a location somewhere in between myself and where the client would be traveling from, usually at one of the local coffee shops. If you aren't available for an in-person crash course, we can set up something online via ZOOM. You will just need a computer, good wifi, and a web camera. For personal training, I have a couple of gyms I train at, or I can come to your gym or your residence if you have sufficient strength training equipment available.

What are your policies regarding missed sessions?

I operate on good faith, so if someone had to cancel, it's most likely for good reason and I understand that. I just ask that I get as much notice as possible, so I can book someone else in that time slot.

What are your fees and how do you collect payment?

I charge $90 for the crash course and $35 for each personal training session. For a list of other services and fees, see the Services page. I collect payment through Paypal, Square, check or cash.

Do you offer a free initial consultation and perhaps one or two free sessions to determine if there is a good match with the client's personality and style?

No. We can talk via text, FB messaging, or phone if you have any questions, but as far as training, you are just paying for one individual session at a time. You would determine whether or not you would like to get an additional session.
